Everglades 3 is a short way in from the gate, tucked in under tall trees where the driveway opens out. There’s room for a second vehicle in the long driveway and space alongside for a second group.

Great spot near Franklin, NC. Portapotties were especially clean and stocked. Host Damien was very specific and clear with details and instructions; we never had needed any additional details because he had thought of it all for us already. Lovely woods and site 3 even had a little tiny glimpse of the mountain ridge which was lovely at dusk. Would recommend.

We’d suggest backing in when you arrive rather than backing out when you leave — reversing up a hill is usually easier to control than reversing down one — but it’s your call. Fine if you’re comfortable reversing a van; pick 1 or 6 if you’d rather not. |
